There is no better place to play pickleball than the Naples area! Though it is not the birthplace of pickleball, its has quickly become known as the pickleball capital of the world. In Naples, the courts are always in good shape, the players are often friendly, and their are many ways to get involved in the sport around town. Here are a few of our favorite places:
East Naples Community Park
You can't mention pickleball courts in Naples without highlighting the Naples Pickleball Center of East Naples Community Park. This is a top destination for pickleball! Consisting of 80 courts in total, this facility is home to the U.S. Open Pickleball Championships which sees more than 2,000 players from 47 states and 20 countries every year!
The Naples Pickleball Center offers open play, clinics, and private and semi-private lessons. Yearly memberships are available or you can pay to play for a day. You can also take advantage of the free to play weekends and free to play Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Veterans Community Park
With 8 unlit and 6 lit pickleball courts, you can head to this park and play both day and night. Veterans Community Park is one of the busiest parks in Collier County, with dozens of children’s activities, classes for seniors, and a favorite to your four-legged friends. Sitting on 15 acres of beautiful landscaping, this park is located south of coastland and center mall on Fleischmann Blvd at Goodlette-Frank Road.
After you enjoy a few games on one of their two pickleball courts, have a quick picnic lunch at one of several picnic pavilions.

Marco Island Racquet Center
While many pickleball locations in Naples are for members only, this park just a short drive south of Naples is open to the public. Check out Marco Island Racquet Center with 7 outdoor courts. These courts have permanent lines and nets with a pro shop nearby. Best part? The courts are free to play!
